Further to the consultation event held earlier in the year about the proposed housing development at Mackenzie Place, the actual planning application for the project has just been made available by Babergh District Council. The application is for 42 dwellings plus nine self-build plots.
The Parish Council is intending to host a presentation event in the Village Hall where those organisations and bodies involved will offer information about the application.
It is hoped that the deadline for comments on the application can be extended but this cannot be guaranteed so residents who wish to put forward their views are encouraged to meet the current deadline of 16 November.
The application can be viewed on the Babergh District Council Website: https://planning.baberghmidsuffolk.gov.uk/online-applications/ – just search using the application reference DC/17/05332.
Further information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
