You are hereby summoned to the Extra-ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council which will be held as a Virtual Meeting using Skype Video Conferencing on Wednesday 17 December 2020 at 7.30pm for the purpose of transacting the business below.
Members of the public:
Members of the public are welcome to access the meeting (via Skype) and may address the Council, during the Public Participation Session, Item 5 on the agenda. Would any person intending to address the Council during the meeting please provide a copy of their question (or report) to the Clerk of the Council (parish.council@cockfield.org.uk) in advance of the meeting, so that in the event that their access is lost during the meeting (i.e., through a wi-fi failure), then the Chairman will be able to read out their question during the meeting.
Reporting on Meetings
Except where members of the public have been excluded due to the confidential nature of the business, any person is normally able to film, photograph, audio record or use social media to report on meetings of the Council, including any public comment and/or questions.

DC/20/05381: Planning Application – Conversion and extension of existing agricultural building to provide 1no. single storey dwelling (with associated demolition) Location: Colchester Green Farm, Colchester Green, Cockfield, Bury St Edmunds Suffolk IP30 0HG. (Consultation Response Deadline 30/12/20).

DC/20/04361: Full Planning Application – Change of use of part of existing agricultural building to self-storage facility. New Barn Farm, Lavenham Road, Cockfield, Bury St Edmunds Suffolk IP30 0HX. Decision: Planning Permission has been Granted.
DC/20/04440: Application for removal or variation of a condition following grant of planning permission. Town and Country Planning Act 1990. Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 for DC/18/00474 to vary Condition 1 (Approved plans) to facilitate replacement of the approved layout plan with the submitted phasing plan drawing 908/73. Land at Bury Road, Cross Green, Cockfield, Bury St Edmunds Suffolk IP30 0LG. Decision: Planning Permission has been Granted.
7. Adventure Playground Additional Works:
To consider and approve Cllr Morley’s proposal for the installation of new Safergrass cellular rubber surface covering under one pair of existing swings at a cost of £680.00 + VAT, following the Playground Safety Inspection Report.
8. CIL Working Group:
To receive a CIL Working Group update on the proposed new Bus Shelter at MacKenzie Place.

The next Virtual Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council will be Thursday 14 January 2021 at 7.30pm, using Skype Video Conferencing. Note: This is 2 weeks earlier than normal.
