The 2023 Cockfield Community Council Art Show takes place from Saturday 27th May through to Monday 29th May 2023
at Cockfield Village Hall (IP30 0LA) 10-4pm daily (see below for map)
Dear Artist
I am very happy to include below the Intent to Exhibit Form for our 2023 Show.
This year we are back to ‘normal’ running over the late Spring Bank Holiday weekend 27th, 28th, 29th May making ours the largest Art Show in East Anglia in 2023.
Please forward entry details to any friends who you think may be interested. For further copies of the Intent to Exhibit Form please forward the link to this page or phone 01284 828264 and I will be happy to email one out.
Entries are also invited from potters, carvers, glass makers, ceramicists etc.
This year I have introduced a time slot for handing in your works, this helps with car parking on handing in day and relieves the pressure on the booking in staff, please indicate your preference, this will be confirmed when your entry is acknowledged so please enter promptly, I do not need to know the title of the works before handing in day just that you would like to be part of our Show this year.
Should you need any further information I will be happy to answer any questions.
I am really looking forward to seeing you all again.
Best regards
Janne

Important information
Framed work should be original work in a frame of good standard, unless the work is designed and intended to be hung un-framed (e.g. a box canvas). All Framed Works MUST be tightly corded or wired ready for hanging. Clip frames are not acceptable.
Please fix a label on the back of every item to show the title, medium, price and your name and address. This is in addition to the labels we provide for exhibition purposes for hung works, these will be available for completion on handing in day.
Every endeavour will be made to hang all work submitted but work which exceeds 22 inches x 20 inches may be queued and hung as space becomes available.
Unframed Work for browsers can be original work or prints of your original, but not box canvases. A selection of work is preferable to four prints of the same picture. These should be cellophane wrapped and clearly labelled with title, medium, price, your name and indicating whether print or original.
Insurance
Whilst all reasonable care is taken, neither Cockfield Community Council, nor the venue can accept responsibility for loss or damage. It is therefore your responsibility to arrange your own insurance.
Handing in Day
Only Cockfield Community Council is responsible for hanging the exhibition. Exhibitors are asked to please assist this process by leaving the venue as soon as you have handed in your works.
