In the current COVID 19 situation we are all only too well aware of the social distancing restrictions that are in place. At this point the Community Council cannot see that we are able to arrange social  events such as Dances in the short term.

However we are actively working on seeing if we can reintroduce the cinema evenings from maybe late September, if not October. This would involve, if we are able to, socially distanced seating and perhaps a cap on numbers with tickets reserved in advance. Please watch out for further news.

In the meantime the Cockfield Produce, Flower and Craft Show is happening – but not as we know it!

To take account of the current situation entries are by photograph only. Please see further details elsewhere in Green Links. But you should send your photos to cockfield.show@cockfield.org.uk stating your name and which class or classes you are entering. All entries will be acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt. The Closing date is midnight Sunday 27th September.

All entries will be anonymous for judging purposes therefore please do not include people in your pictures. For the full set of rules see the village website.
