Jeffreys Green, Cockfield – Update May 2021

As I write this update SEH French are busy preparing the site for completion and handover of the affordable properties.  And by the time you read this most of the properties will be occupied – providing quality new homes to local people.

This is great news and a significant achievement given the challenge of the pandemic.

We wish the new residents much happiness in their new homes.

All rented properties have been allocated but there are some shared ownership homes still available.

There will continue to be construction activity at Jeffreys Green as SEH carry on with the construction of three bungalows on behalf of Mid Suffolk District Council.

 

These homes are progressing well and will be completed later in the year.  Allocations will be made via Gateway to Homechoice, and I will provide more information on the timescales for the adverts and bids at a later date.

I am also pleased to advise the SEH will shortly be commencing the construction of the first 11 market sale homes being developed by Orwell Homes, the private sale subsidiary of Orwell Housing.

These plots will be a selection of 2, 3 & 4 bedroom houses and 2 bedroom bungalows.
