It's October again and Remembrance Sunday is fast approaching.

Last year in Cockfield, including the Church collection and Gift Aid credits, we raised £1,431.24 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Again this year our volunteers will be out during the two weeks leading up November 11th, collecting door to door for this excellent cause – there will also be static boxes at strategic points throughout the village.

Please give generously to help the families of those who have given their lives in the service of the country and the many ex-servicemen who are suffering the effects of war.

Hopefully, with your help, we’ll beat last year’s total!!!!
